Exterior Window Cleaning – Our team will use a combination of a water fed pole and our standard sponge and squeegee to clean your windows. Both methods are within our Glass Safe Process. This clean includes your outside window sill. We ask that you remove screens prior to the team’s arrival so we can ensure a fantastic clean.
Interior Window Cleaning – Dirt builds up on your windows. Our team will use a sponge and squeegee to clean your windows. This clean includes a complimentary wipe around the frame and the inside sill.
If we are doing both inside and outside windows, we offer a complimentary screen wipe as well. For a deeper screen cleaning, we recommend our add-on service, which includes washing your screens.
Screen Cleaning with Squeegee Squad
Our window screens sure do get dirty! We’re happy to spruce those up so you can enjoy fresh breezes. If you choose to add a detailed screen cleaning to your window clean, here’s what to expect: 
Our team will remove the screens one by one, give them a soapy bath with a sponge, and then wipe the screen dry with a towel. We will then wipe around the edges of the screen before returning it to your window.
We typically offer this add-on to the inside and outside window cleaning service. However, if we are doing only your outside windows and you’d like your screens cleaned, we can discuss how to manage it. In those situations, we may need inside access to your home.
Track Cleaning with Squeegee Squad
If you thought your windows were dirty, just look at those window tracks! The track is the part of your window where the window itself closes down and touches the frame. We do not include these as part of the typical window cleaning, but are happy to add them on.
This service can only be added to cleans that are both inside and outside windows. Our track cleaning includes a full wipedown and vacuum followed by another wipedown to make sure all that built-up gunk is out of there! Please note that we do the best we can, but cannot guarantee every speck of dirt is out of those pesky corners.
**Squeegee Squad is not liable for damages to the screen clips and here’s why: Screens are not made well. The cheap plastic pieces that are used to remove them and put them into place go through intense heat and cold throughout the year, breaking down the plastic over time and making it brittle. They will easily snap off the first time you try to remove them.

Q: How should I prepare for my window cleaning?
Exterior Windows — If we are cleaning your exterior windows, please remove your screens. We will need access to water via your hose bib. Please unlock any gates to the backyard, and we may need to park in your driveway.
Interior and Exterior Windows — See above for Exterior. If we’re also cleaning inside, please move any fragile or delicate items away from your windows and store them safely. We appreciate you moving desks with large computer monitors as well. We will remove window screens at the start and return them once finished.
Q: What is a window track versus a window sill?
A: The sill is the wooden/plastic part inside your home or outside the window that helps to frame the window. We will wipe down sills on the outside and inside if cleaning those areas.
The track is where the window comes down to meet and touches the frame. We will clean those for an additional charge.
Q: Why do you ask customers to remove screens when you do an outside-only window clean?
A: Most screens can only be removed from the inside. We recommend you remove them one day in advance of our visit and place them next to the window where you removed them. They warp over time and may not fit another window.
Q: How often should windows be cleaned?
A: Most homeowners schedule service twice per year. Homes near construction, heavy pollen, or trees may benefit from more frequent cleaning. Commercial windows should be cleaned at least once per year, but storefronts or other retailers often benefit from a more frequent cleaning.
Q: There’s something on my window. Can you remove it?
A: It depends. We can use non-routine cleaning techniques to remove a variety of hard water stains or other issues. However, we need to see the window before the team arrives to ensure we have the proper cleaning agents or materials on hand. Let us know if you have something specific you want us to address.
During a cleaning, we may point out to you paint, hard water stains, or other damage that requires more than a routine cleaning to address. We’re happy to help, but this may require an additional charge or a separate visit.
Q: I have cleaned my windows but I still see something. Can you help?
A: If your window caulking is wearing out, there may be a leak, causing condensation, hard water buildup, or other stains in between the panes of glass. Unfortunately, if the problem is within the panes, we cannot clean it. We’re happy to consult with you and let you know.
